Tubac Presidio State Historic Park is located in the heart of Tubac, Arizona, the oldest European settlement in the state. We have an excellent museum, the second oldest schoolhouse in Arizona, and the archaeological remains of the 1752 Spanish Presidio.
Due to budget constraints, Arizona State Parks was going to close Tubac Presidio State Historic Park in March of 2010. An extraordinary community effort brought about a unique public-private partnership to keep this wonderful cultural resource available to the public. The Presidio is maintained and staffed by caring and committed volunteers who share their passion of Tubac’s rich history with visitors on a daily basis.
The Tubac Presidio Shop provides an opportunity for you to help preserve this cultural treasure. All proceeds from your purchases go to benefitting the Park and insuring its future. We invite you to browse, and perhaps, order a little piece of history for yourself or those you love.
For information about donating your photography or artwork for our use, please contact our designer at firstname.lastname@example.org. We are always in need, so you inquiry would be most welcome. We would be happy to receive anything from simple nature photography to artistic masterpieces.
We hope you enjoy our blog and our shop and, of course, thank you for visiting the Tubac Presidio Park blog.
